Dani and the Delinquents are a swingin' rockabilly group based out of Los Angeles.
Performing together for over seven years, they have headlined the historic Wiltern Theatre, are frequently on the bill at the world's largest rockabilly festival "Viva Las Vegas," and have performed internationally, most recently at the "Sh Boom" Festival in Porto Recanati, Italy.
Set lists feature both original music and well-known tunes from the 1940's-1960's, covering crowd-favorite artists of the time and genre like Elvis, Johnny Cash, Wanda Jackson and Brenda Lee. Whether you are looking to stay on the dance floor all night or kick back and enjoy the music in your seat, Dani and the Delinquents deliver!
Meet Dani
On Vocals and Tambourine - Dani Colace!
A music-lover since birth, Dani studied theatre and vocal jazz at USC, before eventually enjoying professional singing opportunities in the swing, jazz and rockabilly scenes in Los Angeles. She has previously performed with @crown_city_bombers and @the_groove_empire_orchestra and can be heard on @angelatinimusic , @williebarrylive , and @gorgeousgodevils records.
When not onstage, Dani enjoys embroidery, meandering around antique malls and vintage markets, Tiki bars, swing dancing, and all things Disney.
Meet the Delinquents
On the Guitar - Eitaro “Guitaro” Sako
"Deep down in Aichi in Japan, lived a country boy named Eitaro Sako, who never ever learned to read or write so well, but he could play the guitar just like a ringing a bell!"
Picking up the guitar at 14 years old, Eitaro wowed dancers in Japan before coming to the States in 2003 to make more people happy with his rockin’ guitar sound!
On the Drums - Jack Johnson!
Jack has been pounding the drums for various roots RnR bands all over SoCal and the world for the last 15 years, and has no plans of stopping anytime soon. When he’s not playing drums or making people dance, he’s thinking about the next time he’ll play drums or make people dance.
He also loves pizza & bowling (together or separately) and has seen every OG Saved By The Bell episode 9 or 10 times each.
On the Upright Bass - Matt Pensabene!
Hailing from New York, “Matty Boy” started playing bass at 12 because it was the only electric instrument he had access to. His philosophy is the louder the better. Don’t bother to tell him to turn down. He can’t hear you.
On the Saxophone - Sean O’Kelley
Sean is a tenured woodwind multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger for many bands in Los Angeles, but for us, he’s THE swingin, movin, groovin, and honkin Sax Man! Sean never fails to set the vibe and bring the fun to every show. He loves to get the crowd on their feet! Oh, did we mention he sings too?
